The arster is an amazing suitor,
It's masculine, feminine, or even neuter.
But whether husband, pal, or wife,
It leads a soothing sort of life.
I'd like to be an arster, say,

Cook arsters in a pan with liquor till edges curl. Saute onion, bacon, and butter in a skillet. Mix saute with arsters.
Add milk, do not bring to boil, keep on low heat. Season to taste. Enjoy!

 



1 pint of arsters with liquor, inspect for shell particles and add pancake mix to make batter. Dip thick batter with a spoon into skillet with 1/2 inch of hot oil. Turn once.





1 qt. arsters drained well. 3 cups of cracker meal, season with pepper and salt to taste.

Shake in ziplock bag to coat. Deep fry until golden brown. Enjoy! Feeds 4.
